There is a constant drive here at Corgin to improve our procedures, processes and products. Any slight issue is immediately seen as an opportunity for improvement. As John Powell said: "The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing."

But now we're taking lean to a whole new next level. We recently recruited Deevia Chauhan as Project Engineer and Lean Champion. Deevia has a string of qualifications including Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. We're already seeing a number of systemic improvements being made to streamline our processes, in particular on our recently-launched Project Management System, Wrike.

Deevia is really enjoying her new role: "Having recently relocated to the Midlands from New Zealand, with a passion for lean and a desire to pursue a career in the water industry, Corgin was the perfect fit. Everyone at Corgin has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and within the first week I honestly felt like I’d already been here months! The transparency and open communication from management and within the team has been truly refreshing and the team's drive to consistently challenge and improve all aspects of their work has been inspiring."
