Recycling Facility Dust Suppression: DustLayer

I was first introduced to Corgin at Hillhead show 2014; I was very impressed with the set up and the welcome that was given to me. Corgin stayed in touch with me and in the summer of 2015 SRC Aggregates decided to hire a DustLayer unit for use in our recycling yard. It was very quick and easy to set up an account with Corgin, with the speedy delivery to site we found the unit very easy to use and quick to set up.

The dust unit was placed in the recycling yard next to our J1170 jaw crusher, the dust unit was set up facing the stock pile of unprocessed concrete. We found the DustLayer would be run for 1 hour and that would keep the dust down for about 3 hours; this was a big surprise to us and made controlling the dust very easy. At the end of the shift the dust unit was then used to wash the lorries down with the lance. The dust unit is very versatile; the pressure washer means it can also be used to wash lorry wheels before they go back on the highway, for us this was a win-win: one unit, two jobs.
