During September, John Needham, an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer at Corgin, has committed to cycling 300 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. That's equivalent to cycling from here to Penzance - no mean feat!

Cancer Research say that in 2014 more than 160,000 people in the UK died from cancer and 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. Very few of us can say that cancer hasn't had some impact on our lives.

John says that he will be "pedalling harder than ever to raise money for life-saving research to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured".

John has the full support of the team at Corgin and both the company and many of the staff will be making donations to this worthy cause. You can join in too.
