One of Corgin’s transport contractors met with an unexpected obstacle this week on attempting a collection of a MistCannon from a construction site in central Birmingham.
The equipment had been off-hired due to project progress meaning that it was no longer required; on arrival at the site the driver was told that collection wasn’t possible as a swarm of bees had taken up residence in the cowl of the MistCannon.
A bee specialist had to be employed to locate and release the queen before we could be granted access to the equipment.
Is this the first construction site in the UK to genuinely justify the expression, a ‘hive’ of activity?!
