Corgin is delighted to have supported Louisa Gates, a student from Focus School Coventry Campus, on a work placement programme known as the Career Advantage Program (CAP) over the past year. The program required Louisa to complete an extra-curricular course of her choice, plus 100 hours of work experience at Corgin. This means that when Louisa takes up employment she will “hit the ground running”, having gained valuable insight into how the business world works.

Louisa chose to study a CIMA course in order to gain a Certificate in Business Accounting, which in conjunction with her work experience at Corgin, has provided her with a well-rounded knowledge of business and finance.

Having now completed her work experience at Corgin, she will be taking up employment in a few weeks’ time.  The team at Corgin thank Louisa very much for her help and excellent work ethic throughout her work experience, and wish her well as she starts work.  We hope that the Career Advantage Program has helped bridge the gap between her leaving school and entering the business world.
