When did you join Corgin?
March 2019.
What's one thing about your job at Corgin that motivates you?
3D modelling is no longer a weekend hobby - it's a full-time career. What could be more motivating than that?...well, it is knowing that every project I undertake is an opportunity to innovate ecological solutions that not only meet our clients’ needs but also contribute to the well-being of our planet.
What's a book/methodology/piece of advice that has influenced your approach to work?
A book by Stephen Covey 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People' taught me that to achieve your desires in life you first have to "Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny" and in the words of Albert Einstein "The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking."
What's your favourite team tradition or team-building activity at Corgin?
Every week we celebrate all those who have gone above and beyond; those who took the extra mile to fulfil a task or to help someone. This brings a rewarding satisfaction, and it boosts your mentality for the upcoming week.
Which company value resonates with you the most, and why?
The value that resonates with me the most is ‘Focusing on Solutions’. Tackling each project brings its own set of complexities and challenges. Devising innovative solutions, and making a positive difference is what inspires me to continually strive for excellence and deliver significant, meaningful results.
What would be your dream job?
For me, the concept of a dream job is where my designs serve a greater purpose, aligning with my core values of innovation, empathy, and sustainability, making a tangible difference in the world. Furthermore, the satisfaction I derive from helping people isn’t just about meeting immediate needs; it’s about looking ahead and asking how we can do things better, smarter, and easier.
